We established Medistance after 25 years of medical and management experience - which is the key difference between us and other medical tourism companies. We know what we’re talking about, because we know how to take care of patients. Your health and happiness is guaranteed with a fully customized treatment plan, which we put in action by mobilizing our connections in Istanbul. We only work with the most experienced teams and the most qualified health centers - still we are adamant about keeping it affordable.
We are stationed both in London and Istanbul, so we can stay on top of everything from your treatment plan to your follow-ups, even your flights. We are always in communication with healthcare providers, governments, insurance companies, employers and other buyers of healthcare to make this experience as smooth as possible.
We share the patient’s profile with the intended hospital and doctor, and establish communication between the parties in the most seamless way. The patient is always fully informed, and when the patient is satisfied with our plan, we move on to cost and treatment.
We stay in touch with the team taking care of you throughout your treatment and keep track of your medical and surgical reports, epicrisis and lab results so we can be ready for the next possible inquiry of the patient.

Medical Practice
Dr. Cankat has worked as Chief of Maternal Fetal Medicine and Perinatology unit at the International Hospital and Florence Nightingale Hospitals, two of the biggest hospitals in Istanbul. She has also worked at Jinemed, one of the most well-known OB/GYN centers. After 2004, Dr. Cankat launched her own multi-speciality Cankat Clinic in Istanbul.
